This figure is almost eight times larger than that of Hyundai, which holds the second position with a 7% market share. This success by Toyota can be attributed to strong sales performance from its Hilux, Land Cruiser SW, Land Cruiser H/D, and Fortuner models that have consistently topped sales charts.
MG’s Strong Market Showing
MG’s performance was incredible with a market share of 6.6%, positioning it among the top three players in the market. The brand’s popularity and effectiveness of its marketing strategies can be seen through the number of units sold by MG in Oman. Among all car models in the country, the MG 5 took the fifth place where it featured highly on this particular car model.
Other Notable Brands and their Market Shares
Following MG, Isuzu and Kia have secured their places in the top five with 4.8% and 4.3% market shares, respectively. While Isuzu registered 707 units, in the same quarter Kia managed to turn around 636 units. Changan, which had a 3.2% stake of the automotive industry, moved 475 motor vehicles earning them the seventh place during this timeline. With a 0.9% market share herein, Mercedes-Benz found itself at the thirteenth position having sold one hundred and twenty-six cars.

Furthermore, the Fortuner ranks fifth, after the Camry and Prado models also featured in this ranking, thereby enhancing the overall dominance by Toyota in terms of market shares. Besides these marques, only the Isuzu D-Max sold 329 and the MG 5 sold 573 units outside Toyota’s influence into the top 10 positions
