Changan establishes its German subsidiary in Munich to boost its European market presence under the "Vast Ocean" globalization plan.

Changan established its German subsidiary Changan Automobile Deutschland GmbH in Munich, marking its important step to deeply cultivate the European market, and to accelerate its globalization strategy "Vast Ocean" plan.

Besides offering sales, marketing and services functions, Changan’s German subsidiary mainly focus on conducting consumer insights, market research, understanding the local technical regulations and certification, as well as implementing product localization.

Till now, Changan has already five major regional business departments overseas, including subsidiaries in Russia, Thailand, Mexico and German, along with a joint venture in Pakistan, an overseas office in Dubai, altogether forming a large base to solidify Changan's presence in Southeast Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa, Central and South America, and the Commonwealth of Independent States.

By diving into Changan’s "Vast Ocean" plan, we can learn more about its global expansion targets by 2030. By then, Changan is aiming to invest 10 billion USD overseas, to gain an overseas sales volume of 1,200,000 units, and to have 10,000 employees overseas.
