Following the report, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), which has been representing Chinese carmakers in price commitment negotiations with the European Commission, responded on the 24th, stating that it has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the authorized companies against the Commission's erroneous practices and rulings in the anti-subsidy investigation of Chinese electric vehicles, which violated the EU Anti-Subsidy Regulations. The EU Court of Justice website now displays information on the lawsuits filed by the three Chinese carmakers against the European Commission, all dated January 21st. Apart from this, the website has not disclosed any further information. The CCCME stated that as the plaintiff in this court litigation, it will continue to represent the Chinese electric vehicle industry in defending the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese electric vehicle companies through judicial litigation.
