Starting for 179,800 Yuan: BYD Seal Honor Edition Officially Released

Today, BYD officially announced the launch of its mid-size sedan, the Seal Honor Edition. The new vehicle comprises a total of 5 models, with prices ranging from 179,800 yuan to 249,800 yuan.

According to Autocango, the new car will offer three different battery options, four power choices, and five configuration models.

The Seal Honor Edition adopts CTB battery-body integration technology and features iTAC intelligent torque control technology. It boasts high-performance suspension systems with double wishbone suspension at the front and multi-link suspension at the rear. The vehicle is equipped with two electric motors with power outputs of 150 kW, 170 kW, and 230 kW respectively, delivering peak torque of 310 Nm, 330 Nm, and 360 Nm. With the assistance of the dual motors, the car achieves a zero to one hundred kilometer per hour acceleration time of as fast as 3.8 seconds.

In terms of battery, the new car will be available with two battery capacities: 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh, providing CLTC cycle pure electric ranges of 550 kilometers, 650 kilometers, and 700 kilometers respectively.
