BYD to Unveil "Super e-Platform" at March 17 Event; Han L and Tang L Models Likely to Debut

March 13 — BYD will host a “Super e-Platform Technology Launch and Han L/Tang L Pre-Sale Event” on March 17, marking its first major electric architecture upgrade since the e-Platform 3.0 Evo debuted in May 2024. Industry insiders confirm the platform’s flagship feature is a 1,000V high-voltage architecture, expected to power upcoming models like the Han L sedan and Tang L SUV.  



2025 XPeng G6 and G9 Hit Market with PS2PS Autonomy as Standard

March 13 — XPeng Motors launched the 2025 G6 and G9 at its Spring Launch Event, priced at RMB 176,800–198,800 (USD 27,200–30,600*) and RMB 248,800–278,800 (USD 38,300–42,900*), respectively. Both models come standard with the Turing AI Pilot, enabling "Parking Space to Parking Space (PS2PS)" autonomous driving without additional fees or subscriptions. A future OTA update will add "Roaming," allowing driverless navigation in geo-fenced areas. The SUVs also feature 5C ultra-fast charging AI batteries, achieving 80% charge in 12 minutes or 450 km range in 10 minutes.  



Pony.ai Launches Robotaxi Shuttle Service at Beijing South Railway Station  

March 13 — Autonomous driving firm Pony.ai today inaugurated a robotaxi route connecting Beijing South Railway Station to the Yizhuang economic zone, marking the city’s first autonomous ride-hailing trial in a major rail hub. Passengers can now book driverless rides directly to the station, completing the “door-to-station” commute chain in the capital’s urban core.
