It has been reported that Li Auto, the leading Chinese "New Force" NEV brand, has so far delivered over 800,000 cars within 54 months. It is actually the very first Chinese “New Force” NEV brand which achieved this figure.
The 800,000th vehicle is none other than the Li L9, an upgraded version of the company’s flagship full-sized SUV. It was first delivered in August 2022 and has to date been purchased by more than 190,000 individuals.
Introduced in December 2019 as its pioneer model, Li ONE recorded a delivery of 200,000 units in total.
L8 models began delivering during November 2022. While the Li L7 saw its first deliveries in March 2023 and reached 400,000 car sales in four months down the line. In March and April this year, Li launched the all-electric MPV Li MEGA and the Li L6 models respectively.
Notably, Li Auto delivered 35,020 new vehicles in May alone, and from January up to May this year, it brought the cumulative sales to 141,209 units, according to data released by CPCA (China Passenger Car Association).
