On October 9th, Autocang learned from the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in Colombia, the Colombia newspaper "The Observer" posted that Zeekr, Geely backed high-end smart electric vehicle brand, announced its entry into the Colombia market with the initial plan of introducing Zeekr 001 sedan and Zeekr X SUV. Zeekr will collaborate with the the Colombian distributor Astra to expand local market, the report says.

In order to provide quality service and to ensure a superior driving experience for the local consumers, Zeekr will invest on both technology R&R and the establishments of charging infrastructures. This is a strategic step for Zeekr to enter into the South American auto market.
