Yes, this NEV giant from China sold a total of 506,804 units in November alone, marking a year-on-year surge of 67.2%. You know what, it sold 502,657 units in October, which means November is its second month to surpass 500,000 units sales volumes.

According to BYD’s official Weibo account, the NEV giant released its monthly sales report, celebrating its record-high performance.

-        The total sales: 506,804 units

-        Overseas Sales: 30,977 units

-        The Dynasty Family: 253,129 units

-        The Ocean Family: 229,819 units

-        Fang Cheng Bao: 8,521 units

-        Denza: 10,002 units

-        Yang Wang: 302 units

From the data, we can see that the Dynasty family and the Ocean family contributed most of the sales, up to 95.3% of the total sales.

In terms of the Dynasty family, it’s the second consecutive month to reach over 250,000 units. Among them, the Qin series (including the Qin plus, Qin L DM-I, and Qin EV) won the first place with 86,046 units sold. The second and the third place have been taken by the Song models (including Song L DM-I, Song L EV, and Song Pro DM-I) and the Yuan series (including the Yuan plus, and Yuan UP), sold 63,638 units and 56,568 units respectively.

Under the Ocean family, the Seal, the Seagull and the Song Plus (DM-I & EV) models sold 56,570 units, 56,459 units, and 55,105 units respectively.

Achieving Annual Goals

Accumulatively, BYD has sold 3,757,300 units from January to November, achieved its annual delivery goal of 3,600,000 units. Will BYD sell over 4 million vehicles this year? We will just wait and see the last month.
