Changan officially unveiled its Hunter pickup truck today, originally showcased at last year's Guangzhou Auto Show. Positioned as the world's premier Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) pickup, the Hunter lineup offers a choice of eight versions, with prices ranging from 139,900 yuan (approximately 19,450 USD) to 216,900 yuan (around 31,150 USD).

The single-motor variants are equipped with a 130 kW unit on the rear axle, while the four-wheel-drive configurations incorporate an additional 70 kW electric motor on the front. All models share a common 31.18 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, delivering a 180 km CLTC (Chinese Light-duty Test Cycle) pure electric range and an impressive combined range of 1,031 km. It's noteworthy that the quoted range remains the same for both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and All-Wheel Drive (AWD) versions.
