Electric Sedan Hongqi EH7 with a Range of 820 Kilometers is to Come

The upcoming release of the Hongqi EH7, an electric sedan, is generating anticipation as Chinese automaker Hongqi prepares to unveil its inaugural model developed on the new generation FMEs platform.

The EH7 boasts impressive specifications, including 619 horsepower, 756 Nm of torque, a rapid 3.9-second acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, an 800V architecture, and a remarkable 20-minute charging time for 10-80% capacity. Additionally, it features the HAP autonomous driving system.

Measuring 4,980 mm in length with a 3-meter wheelbase, the EH7 is positioned to compete with Xiaomi’s SU7 in the market.

Offered in two battery versions, the swappable battery variant delivers a range of 600 kilometers (CLTC), while the fixed battery model, with a capacity of approximately 120 kWh, extends the range to an impressive 820 km. Sales are expected to commence in March, though pricing details are yet to be disclosed.
