GAC Motor, Voyah Motor, Leapmotor, and Kaiyi Auto have officially joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem, becoming the first batch of automotive industry partners to develop native applications for HarmonyOS.

According to a recent announcement from Huawei's HarmonyOS official Weibo account, GAC Motor, Voyah Motor, Leapmotor, and Kaiyi Auto have officially joined the HarmonyOS ecosystem, becoming the first batch of automotive industry partners to develop native applications for HarmonyOS.


Huawei stated that this move will not only accelerate the intelligentization of the automotive industry, providing users with more personalized and diversified travel options, but also set a new benchmark for intelligent travel in the HarmonyOS ecosystem.


As per the official announcements from these four automotive brands, they will initiate the development of native HarmonyOS applications based on HarmonyOS NEXT. They will engage in deep cooperation in various areas such as the HarmonyOS ecosystem, technical complementarity, and commercial synergy, aiming to provide consumers with a comprehensive intelligent travel experience.


Regarding the HarmonyOS ecosystem, it has already seen the participation of thousands of leading manufacturers initiating the development of native HarmonyOS applications. On March 15th, Zhu Yonggang, President of Huawei's Terminal Cloud, stated that the HarmonyOS world is open, and opportunities are shared. Every partner is a practitioner in the HarmonyOS ecosystem.
