The hybrid SUV maintains its predecessor's key exterior elements, with an attractive polygonal grille featuring the blue Haval logo and coupled with circular headlights. The rear is identical to the prior model, except for the new "Hi4" inscription. As a light off-road SUV, the Big Dog Hi4 has a 200mm ground clearance and 24-degree approach and 30-degree departure angles, with seven driving modes up its sleeve.

A noteworthy feature is the vehicle's advanced driving assistance technology, achieved by the installation of 22 sensors. This includes 12 ultrasonic radars, five millimeter-wave radars, and five cameras to ensure top-notch safety.

Consumers have the option to choose from five exterior paint colors, including gray, white, black, orange, and brown. The hybrid vehicle measures 4705/1908/1780 mm in size with a 2810 mm wheelbase.

The cabin of Big Dog Hi4 is designed with a 14.6-inch central control screen, a 12.3-inch full LCD instrument panel, a head-up display (HUD), and a four-spoke steering wheel. Below the central control screen, there's a row of physical buttons, making it more user-friendly.

The interior amenities extend to wireless charging for mobile phones, voice recognition, OTA updates, WiFi hotspot connection, and even a remote control via a mobile app allowing control of seat heating/ventilation, lights, and air conditioning.

With a standard seating capacity for five, the Big Dog Hi4 offers a spacious trunk volume of 483 liters. Moreover, the folding back row increases the storage space to an impressive 1,362 liters.

At its core, the hybrid SUV features Great Wall Motor's Hi4 plug-in hybrid system composed of a 1.5T engine and dual motors linked to a 2-speed DHT. The configuration offers a comprehensive torque of 750 Nm, ensuring a swift acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. Designated for the eco-conscious, the Haval Big Dog Hi4 is equipped with a 19.09 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing an impressive electric cruising range of 102 km, with DC fast charging support.

The launch of the Haval Second-Generation Big Dog Hi4 marks an impressive step in the brand's efforts to provide more sustainable mobility options to consumers, perfectly blending power, design, and advanced hybrid technology.
