Affordable Innovation in Electric Vehicles
On May 28th, BYD revealed two new models, the Qin L DM-i and Seal 06 DM-i, marking yet another milestone in the rapidly expanding electric vehicle sector. The innovative electric vehicle manufacturer provides these models at extremely low costs, starting at 99,800 Yuan.
A New Price Point for Superior Technology.
Both the Qin L and Seal 06 show BYD's ongoing efforts to provide cutting-edge technologies at an affordable price. By incorporating cutting-edge fifth-generation DM technology, both models boost economy and range in the electric vehicle industry.
Qin L DM-i: Aggressive, Sporty
The Qin L DM-i stands out with its striking "Dragon Face" design, which represents an advanced aesthetic that leans toward the "New National Trend Dragon Aesthetics". This design makes the car more aggressive and sporty, appealing to today's audience.
The Innovation Seal 06 DM-i
The Seal 06 DM-i has a distinctive oceanic front design, curving side lines, and trendy through-type taillights. Its adaptable design, with semi-hidden door handles, sets it apart in the electric vehicle market.
Power and Performance
Both versions use the fifth-generation DM plug-in hybrid powertrain, which features a 1.5L engine and a driving motor. These vehicles deliver impressive performance, with two power options (120kW and 160kW) and a top speed of 180km/h. With fuel consumption of 2.9L per 100km and a range of 2100km with a full tank of fuel and a full charge, the Qin L and Seal 06 DM-i are paving the way for a greener future.
BYD's dual-model introduction demonstrates their dedication to making sophisticated electric vehicle technology more accessible, ushering the intermediate car industry into the era of 2L fuel economy.
