BYD ATTO 2 Hits French Market with Competitive Pricing at €28,990

BYD launched the compact SUV ATTO 2 in France on February 25th at €28,990, offering competitive pricing against rivals like the VW ID.4 and Renault Captur.

BYD officially launched its compact SUV ATTO 2 (BYD Yuan UP in China) in France on February 25th, at a starting price of €28,990 (approximately RMB 221,000, or $30,450), which is very competitive in France as an NEV, rivalling with VW ID.4 of €39,900 and Captur of €27,900.


The ATTO 2 bares the same dimension of Yuan UP in China, with length of 4310, Width of 1830mm, height of 1675mm, and a wheelbase of 2620mm long. The car offers four colors: green, gray, white, and black.


It is reported that there will be two trims on sale for ATTO 2 in France, both being equipped with BYD blade battery, boosting a power output of 130kW and a torque of 290N•m. The car has a top speed of 160km/h and a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 7.9 seconds. As an NEV, range is always a key metric. For the ATTO 2, the range urban is 463km, perfectly crafted for city life.


According to the company, BYD plans to launch ATTO 2 in several initial markets at the beginning of 2025, and then, it will start selling ATTO 2 across Europe.


As for now, BYD has already launched 9 models in Europe, including both all-electric and hybrid models.
