Insiders: BYD to Integrate Comprehensive Rollout of Intelligent Driving Systems Across All Models

On February 6, BYD revealed plans to host an Intelligent Strategy Launch Conference on February 10, outlining its vision to democratize advanced autonomous driving through its proprietary "God’s Eye" system. Company insiders disclosed that BYD will integrate intelligent driving solutions across its entire vehicle lineup starting this year, including budget-friendly models such as the Seagull and Dolphin. The automaker will deploy a multi-tiered technical framework: entry-level systems sourced from Raincom, mid-tier solutions developed in-house, and premium-tier technology co-engineered with Momenta. These systems will leverage cutting-edge chipsets, including NVIDIA’s Orin X/N and Horizon Robotics’ J6 M, to power next-generation autonomous capabilities.

Geely Completes Deep Integration of Proprietary AI Model with DeepSeek

In a separate development on February 6, Geely Auto announced the successful deep integration of its self-developed Xingrui AI model with DeepSeek's artificial intelligence architecture. Post-integration with DeepSeek-R1, the automaker will conduct distillation training across multiple critical systems, including its FunctionCall vehicle-control model and proactive interaction modules. This upgrade is projected to enable Geely's automotive AI to accurately interpret ambiguous user commands while seamlessly accessing approximately 2,000 vehicle interfaces. The enhanced system will autonomously analyze contextual scenarios both inside and outside vehicles, proactively offering services ranging from dynamic vehicle adjustments to post-sales support, thereby revolutionizing human-machine interaction paradigms.

Hesai Forges Tripartite Partnership for Autonomous Industrial Solutions

Hesai Technology announced strategic collaborations on February 5 with Swiss autonomous solutions provider Embotech AG and French spatial intelligence specialist Outsight. The alliance aims to equip Embotech's Autonomous Vehicle Management (AVM) system—currently operational at BMW's smart factory in Germany—with Hesai's lidar technology and Outsight's advanced perception software. This integration seeks to optimize automated logistics workflows through enhanced environmental recognition and real-time spatial mapping capabilities.
