Deepal S07 Debuts with Super Range Extender and Huawei ADS 3.0

Deepal Launches S07: A New Global Strategic Model from Changan

Deepal, one of Changan’s NEV brand put its next-generation global strategic model S07 onto the market at a grand event.

Variants and Pricing

According to the event, the Deepal S07 priced between 149,900 to 212,900 yuan (20,700 – 29,450 USD) with 10 variants, 4 of which are pure electric variants, and 6 are EREV versions.

As a global strategic model, S07 has two trump cards, one is Deepal Super Range Extender Technology, and the other is Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 SE system.

Super Range Extender Technology

Deepal super range extender technology is fully advanced with three features, such as excellent fuel economy, fast charging capability and super safe.

On the EREV trims, the Deepal S07 has a pure electric range of 125km, 215km and 285km under CLTC conditions, with a combined range up to 1,200km, offering a fuel consumption as low as 4.9L/100km (CLTC). All trims are equipped with 3C fast charging technology, enabling the car to charge from 30% to 80% in just 15 minutes.

Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 SE System

It is highlighted that, on some trims, the car offers the new Huawei Qiankun ADS 3.0 SE system. The system offers high-speed driving assistance at high speed on national highways, urban expressways, and ring roads. It is capable of lane changes, intelligent obstacle avoidance, navigating corners and maintaining speed. For parking assistance, the car can undertakes over 160 different parking situations

It can undertake lane changes, intelligent obstacle avoidance, intelligent cornering, controlling the speed, and entering and exiting ramps. The system also provides intelligent parking, which is claimed to support more than 160 parking scenarios.

BEV Trims and Performance

For the BEV trims, there are two options of electric motors with maximum power of 160 kW and 190 kW, offering two range options 520 km and 628 km under CLTC conditions.

Deepal’s Expanding Lineup

Deepal has three models in its lineup: the Deepal SL03, the Deepal G318 SUV, and the Deepal S07. According to the company, it delivered 83,858 vehicles in the first half of this year.
