Dongfeng Forthing’s Xinghai S7 Officially Unveiled

On April 3, 2024, the brand new Dongfeng Forthing Xinghai S7 was officially presented to the public. The manufacturer has confirmed that the model is set to compete in the 130k to 200k CNY price range, in a bid to expand the brand's market share further.

The Xinghai S7's design is beautifully athletic, including a closed front grille and a huge trapezoidal air inlet. A smooth roofline, wide five-spoke wheels, and hidden handles add to the fastback's appeal. The rear end features a through-type tail lamp group, a black spoiler, and a bumper, which improves the overall appearance while increasing sportiness.

Moving inside, Xinghai S7 adopts a light-colored interior decoration theme. The combination of the narrow-strip LCD instrument cluster and a large floating central control screen adds a degree of quality to the vehicle. The one-piece seat design promises comfort and is expected to include features such as seat ventilation. Further features such as wireless phone charging and panoramic skylights enhance driving convenience and comfort.

With respect to the vehicle's dimensions, the Dongfeng Forthing Xinghai S7 measures 4935/1915/1495mm in length, width, and height, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2915mm. In terms of power, it is equipped with the TZ200XS3F0 drive motor from Zhixin Technology Co Ltd, reaching a maximum power of 160 kW and peak torque of 310 Nm. The vehicle will come with a 56.832 kWh battery pack, capable of delivering a maximum driving range of 550 kilometers.
