EXEED Pre-Sells STERRA ET in BEV and REEV Versions with Prices Starting from 199,000 Yuan

Chery's EXEED brand began pre-sales for its new energy car, the STERRA ET, on April 15, 2024. The model comes in two versions: Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) and Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), with prices ranging from 199,000 yuan to 329,000 yuan.

As the flagship model of EXEED's high-end new energy lineup, the STERRA ET efficiently combines Chery's 27 years of automotive production expertise. The BEV version has a record range of up to 760 kilometers, while the REEV version goes over 1,500 kilometers.

Each STERRA ET edition has sophisticated technology features such as the Utilizing Wide Band for Net (UWB) physical key, the Lion AI large model voice assistant, and the DHS smart health monitoring system, which monitors the vehicle's health in real time.

All versions use a service-oriented architecture (SOA) based on Chery's newest EEA 5.0 architecture. They also all include 30 high-performance sensors and an NVIDIA Drive Orin chip, which promises up to 508 TOPS of computational capability.

The BEV variants powered by CATL's Shenxing battery offer fast-charging capabilities, resulting in a large 475-kilometer range after only 11.5 minutes of charge. The REEV models, on the other hand, include Chery's self-developed engine, which boasts 44.5% thermal efficiency.
