Online, Bao8 Spy Photos Arise
Spy photos of Fang Cheng Bao's flagship SUV, the Bao8, that show off its interior design have recently been making the rounds on the internet. When comparing it to its predecessor, the Bao5, the inside furnishings and space are noticeably better.
Improved Interior
The Bao8 boasts a fully digital dashboard, a suspended central control panel, and a flat-bottom, four-spoke steering wheel, all of which carry on Fang Cheng Bao's distinctive interior design aesthetic. It projects a noticeable elevation in sophistication with its faux fur material on the A-pillar and suede on the roof, which would be standard on all versions, as well as the leather-clad roof handles and central control ones.
Roomy Style
Significant legroom is visible in the second-row seats, which is one notable feature visible in the spy photos. Built on the DMO super hybrid off-road chassis, the Bao8 has three rows of seats, with the possibility to upgrade to six or seven seats.
Big and Well-Rounded
The Bao8 is classified as a large SUV with dimensions of 5195x1994x1875 (1905 with the roof baggage rack) mm and a wheelbase of 2920 mm. With its enormous "Energy Shield" intake grille, its design exudes strength and technological sophistication.
The Bao8 would provide two tire specifications (275/55 R20 and 275/50 R21), an electric pedal system, a streaming rearview mirror, electrical connectors, a trailer hook that can support up to 2.5 tons, and a panoramic sunroof.
Called the "super hybrid hardcore flagship SUV," the Bao8 is equipped with a powerful 2.0T engine and, most significantly, a Yunnian-P active hydraulic body control system. With a reported price of about ¥500,000, it is expected to launch in the third quarter.
