News Flash丨GAC Aion’s Second Factory in Thailand Put into Production

^{On July 17th, GAC’s Aion announced the completion of its intelligent factory in Rayong province, Thailand, with a red Second-Gen Aion V driving off the production line. According to Aion, The initial annual production capacity of the factory is 50,000 vehicles, with plans to gradually expand to 100,000 vehicles,}

This is the second intelligent factory of Aion to be put into operation in Thailand. Aion’s first intelligent factory in Thailand was put into production just two weeks ago, with an annual capacity of 150,000 units.

^{In H1 2024, GAC exported 68,000 units, achieving a YOY increase of 190.2%. The group covers 65 countries and regions globally, among which Aion has completed a comprehensive layout in the ASEAN region. On June 19th, Aion started its Indonisia Strategy, planning to build assembly lines and research centers in Indonisia. The cars produced in Indonisia and Thailad will cover East Asia auto market.}
