GAC Launches Its First Pure Electric SUV Model in Qatar

GAC recently held a high-profile event at its showroom in Doha to officially launch its new energy vehicle, the AION Y Plus, under the Aion Brand. The launch event featured notable attendees, including Marco Melani, Regional President of the Automobile Business Unit of the Al-Futtaim Group. Melani emphasized that GAC plans to further expand its range of electrified products, with upcoming models such as the Hyper HT, Hyper GT, and Hyper SSR set to be introduced.

NIO Officially Enters the Middle East and North Africa Market

In a notable expansion move, NIO’s Chairman and CEO, William Li, announced on Weibo that NIO has entered the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) market. On October 4th, a new strategic cooperation agreement was signed between NIO and strategic investor VYVN in the presence of UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The agreement includes the establishment of an advanced technology R&D center in the UAE, with the first formal vehicle deliveries in the UAE expected to commence in Q4 of this year. NIO aims to be present in 25 countries and regions by 2025, demonstrating its aggressive global expansion strategy.

Seres: September Sales Grow by 402.81% Year-on-Year

On October 7th, Seres Group reported an impressive increase in September 2024 production and sales. The group announced that it sold 37,400 new energy vehicles (NEVs) in September 2024, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 265.09%. Cumulatively, from January to September 2024, Seres Group sold 316,713 units, marking a significant year-on-year increase of 364.23%. This surge underscores the growing consumer acceptance and demand for Seres' new energy vehicle lineup.
