IM Motor completes 9.4 billion yuan B round financing

On December 25th, IM Motor announced the completion of its Series B1 equity financing round, with a total of 9.4 billion yuan raised in the B round financing. The funds raised will be used for the research and development of core technologies such as digital intelligent chassis, steering by wire, and intelligent driving, and to accelerate the launch of new products. According to plans, IM Motor will launch 2 pure electric and 2 extended-range models, totaling 4 new products in 2025.

Tesla's energy storage factory is about to be completed, setting a new "Shanghai speed" record in just 7 months

On December 24th, news indicated that Tesla's Shanghai energy storage super factory is about to be completed, expected to be finished by the end of this year, potentially surpassing the construction speed of its vehicle super factory by completing the entire process from groundbreaking to completion in just 7 months. On May 23rd of this year, Tesla's energy storage super factory commenced construction in Lingang, Shanghai. After the groundbreaking ceremony, Lingang Group also signed a contract with Tesla for China's first batch of ultra-large electrochemical commercial energy storage systems, Megapack. It is understood that Tesla's Shanghai energy storage super factory will begin production in the first quarter of 2025, with a planned annual output of 10,000 commercial energy storage batteries Megapack, with an energy storage capacity of nearly 40GWh (gigawatt-hours), supplying products to the global market.

Ruqi Mobility launches unmanned Robotaxi service in Guangzhou Nansha

On December 25th, Ruqi Mobility officially launched in-car unmanned Robotaxi services in Guangzhou Nansha, becoming the first mobility platform in the country to carry out commercial demonstration operations of "fully unmanned" Robotaxi. In the entire Nansha area, users can place orders through the "Autonomous Driving" entry on the homepage of Ruqi Mobility's WeChat mini-program, or through the "Ride-hailing" or "Autonomous Driving" entry on the Ruqi Mobility APP homepage, all of which offer rides in Ruqi's unmanned Robotaxi.
