Li Auto's Li L6 Collects 10k Orders Shortly After Launch

Recently, Li announced on its social media pages that the Li L6 had received over 10,000 orders in the first 72 hours of availability. The Li L6 model is now available at Li Auto's 480 retail locations throughout the country. This recent debut has generated comparisons to Li Auto's flagship SUV, the Li L9, which had a significantly larger demand when it first hit the market two years ago.

Li L6: An Affordable Option

Li Auto introduced the all-new Li L6 on April 18. It was released in two trim levels, Pro and Max, with beginning prices of RMB 249,800 and RMB 279,800, respectively. It now serves as the most cheap model in Li Auto's inventory, thus replacing the Li L7 in terms of pricing.

Li Auto's Sales Strategy

Initial orders are critical for determining acceptance levels, especially for new models. However, the current launch saw an increase in sales promotion efforts. Li Auto announced that consumers would receive up to RMB 20,000 in limited-time benefits for orders submitted between April 18 and May 5.

Scheduled deliveries

The company will begin delivering small numbers of the Li L6 this week, with a goal of delivering roughly 2,000 units in April. Li Auto is optimistic that high-volume deliveries will begin in May, indicating that China's EV market is headed for a bright future.
