SAIC Volkswagen, a major player in the Chinese auto industry, has announced its April sales figures as well as the total sales data from January to April. The automaker's sales increased significantly in April, reaching a total of 92,000 units. This shows an astounding 56% YoY increase and a noteworthy 4.2% year-over-year growth, including a breakthrough of over 10,000 units in new energy goods.

The cumulative sales figures from January to April showed that SAIC Volkswagen's success continued, with over 340,000 units sold. With sales of new energy vehicles exceeding 37,000 units, representing a staggering growth of 128% YoY, this represents an 8.1% increase from the previous year.

Certain models, like the Audi A7L, saw a startling YoY increase of 282.7%. Subsequent models such as the Audi Q6 and Q5 e-tron witnessed significant growth as well. Since its 14-year market debut, Volkswagen's well-liked Touareg model has added 2.8 million users, surpassing sales of 16,000 vehicles in April. With a 22.1% YoY rise, the Passat model sold 19,000 units in April. Sales are increased, which highlights SAIC Volkswagen's strong market position and rising customer demand.
