Wuling Hongguang MINIEV Four-Door Version Launches at RMB 44,800 ($6,200)


On February 22nd, Wuling Hongguang MINIEV four-door version officially hit the market. The new model comes in three configurations, priced between RMB 44,800 ($6,200) and RMB 50,800 ($7,000). Positioned as a micro electric vehicle, it features a four-door, four-seat design, built on the Tianyu Architecture-S platform. Since pre-orders began in mid-December last year, 15,379 units have been sold even before its official launch. As of February 2025, the Hongguang MINIEV family has surpassed 1.5 million units in sales.



Tank 400 Twin-Turbo Version Launches at RMB 249,800 ($34,500)


On February 22nd, the Tank 400 gasoline and diesel versions officially launched, with prices ranging from RMB 249,800 ($34,500) to RMB 264,800 ($36,700). The Tank 400 gasoline version is equipped with a new 2.0T Miller cycle engine, delivering a maximum power of 180kW and a maximum torque of 380N•m, paired with a 9AT transmission, with a WLTC fuel consumption of 9.85L per 100km. The diesel version features a 2.4T+9AT combination, with a maximum power of 137kW and a maximum torque of 490N•m, and a fuel consumption of 8.9L per 100km.



Chery Fulwin T8 Launches at RMB 99,900 ($13,800)


On February 22nd, Chery Fulwin T8 officially launched. The new model, positioned as a "5+2 seat super hybrid SUV," offers six configurations, with the option to choose between 5-seater and 7-seater versions for all but the top-tier version. The limited-time special oiffer ranges from RMB 99,900 ($13,800) to RMB 146,900 ($20,300). The Fulwin T8 is powered by the C-DM5.0 hybrid system, consisting of the fifth-generation ACTECO 1.5TGDI high-efficiency hybrid engine and an electric motor, with an engine thermal efficiency of up to 44.5%, matched with a CVT super hybrid DHT transmission. The comprehensive power output reaches 265kW, with a comprehensive torque of 530N•m. The comfort and luxury versions are equipped with a 1.5L plug-in hybrid powertrain.



XPENG AEROHT's "Land Aircraft Carrier" Ground Module Enters Winter Testing Acceptance Phase


On February 23rd, XPENG AEROHT's "Land Aircraft Carrier" ground module completed winter testing in Yakutsk and is now in the acceptance phase. The ground module features a six-motor drive system, with the entire vehicle manufactured by XPENG Motors. According to previous plans, the XPENG AEROHT "Land Aircraft Carrier" air module factory is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of this year, with the complete flying car set for mass production and delivery in 2026.



Sense Auto Unveils New End-to-End Technical Route R-UniAD


On February 22nd, at the 2025 GDC Global Developers Pioneer Conference, Sense Auto unveiled the "end-to-end autonomous driving technology route R-UniAD, which interacts with world models." This involves constructing world models to generate online interactive simulation environments for end-to-end model reinforcement learning training. Wang Xiaogang, CEO of Sense Auto and co-founder and chief scientist of SenseTime, introduced that R-UniAD shares the same innovative approach with DeepSeek: upgrading from imitation learning to reinforcement learning to achieve end-to-end autonomous driving that surpasses human performance. As planned, Sense Auto will release the R-UniAD end-to-end autonomous driving solution at the Shanghai Auto Show in April this year and complete its deployment in real vehicles.



Xiaomi, XPENG, NIO, and Others Enter the "Humanoid Robot" Track


On February 23rd, Xiaomi, XPENG, NIO, and several other companies in the automotive industry chain announced their entry into the "humanoid robot" track. In the progress of Xiaomi's humanoid robot, CyberOne is officially defined as a "full-size humanoid bionic robot," supporting various scenarios such as home care and companionship. XPENG Motors Chairman He Xiaopeng previously revealed that the AI robot XPENG Iron will be equipped with multiple self-developed chips to support end-to-end large models, featuring 15 movable degrees of freedom and bionic hands with touch feedback. According to incomplete statistics, 18 global automakers have already entered the humanoid robot track.
