Xpeng Motors Unveils Kunpeng Super Electric System

On November 6th, Xpeng Motors introduced the Kunpeng Super Electric System, an advanced range-extending technology set to revolutionize the brand’s electric vehicle (EV) capabilities. According to Xpeng Motors' Chairman, He Xiaopeng, the system boasts a pure electric range of up to 430km and an overall driving range reaching 1400km, thanks to the new electric system and 800V technology. Notably, the system features a 5C ultra-charging AI battery, enabling the car to charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes. This innovation positions Xpeng for an accelerated global expansion, particularly addressing energy supply infrastructure limitations in overseas markets.

Xpeng Motors Launches AI Humanoid Robot Iron

In a move showcasing its technological prowess, Xpeng Motors also launched AI humanoid robot Iron. This state-of-the-art robot is powered by Xpeng’s latest self-developed Turing AI chip, offering an outstanding computational power of 3000T. Designed to think and remember like a human, Iron’s AI capabilities enable it to perform autonomous activities. Sharing its core with Xpeng’s autonomous driving system, Iron is equipped with an "Eagle Eye" vision system, providing a 720° panoramic view. The robot also incorporates end-to-end large models and reinforcement learning algorithms, empowering it to navigate with the precision of a driver.

FAW-Volkswagen Presents the All-New Tayron L

FAW-Volkswagen recently unveiled the all-new Tayron L at their Tianjin plant. This mid-sized SUV, aligned with its international counterpart, comes in standard and R-Line variants. Featuring the IQ. Pilot intelligent driving assistance system, the Tayron L supports functions such as rod shifting lane change and remote control parking. It retains its existing powertrain options with a 1.5L engine and a 2.0T engine paired with wet dual-clutch transmissions, the 380TSI version delivering a maximum power of 162 kW.

Aion RT Launched at Starting Price of RMB 119,800

Also on November 6th, Aion introduced the Aion RT, a mid-sized pure electric sedan offered in five versions with ranges of 520km and 650km, starting from RMB 119,800. Built on the AEP 3.0 pure electric platform, higher-end models feature laser radar and advanced driver assistance mapless systems (NDA). The Aion RT employs the latest lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology from CATL, offering battery capacities of 55.1kWh and 68.1kWh. The electric motor variants deliver maximum power outputs of 150kW and 165kW, respectively. Range figures stand at 520km and 650km with combined energy consumption figures of 11.7kWh/100km and 11.9kWh/100km. The car supports 400V silicon carbide 3C fast charging, allowing a 30% to 80% charge within 18 minutes, which translates to an additional 160km to 200km of range in just 10 minutes.
