Xpeng Expands to Spain and Portugal with Launch of G9, G6 SUVs and P7 Sedan

Xpeng officially expands to Spain and Portugal with the launching of its G9, G6 SUVs and P7 sedan recently.

Xpeng held launching events in Madrid, Spain on September 256th and Portugal on September 26th, by officially bringing its G9, G6 SUVs and P7 sedan to the local market. This is a symbol of extending its European footprint.

Spain Market Expansion Plan

It is reported that Xpeng has already joined hands with Salvador Caetano, the largest automotive group in the Iberian Peninsula. The two parties will soon establish a comprehensive sales network in Spain covering 10 cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Malaga and etc.

Portuguese Market Expansion Plan

For Portugal market, Xpeng has already set up 2 sales outlets in Lisbon and Porto. As planned, the company will expand to 6 sales outlets by the end of 2024, and 15 by the end of 2025.

According to the public information, Xpeng has started overseas expansion in 2020, and speeded up this year. The company has already expanded Norway, German, France, and UK market with various models.

-        End of 2020, Xpeng entered Norway with a batch of its vehicles.

-        March 2024, Xpeng launched G9 and P7 in Germany.

-        May 2024, Xpeng launched G9 and G6 in France.

-        July 2024, Xpeng debuted its G6 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024, in UK.

-        September 2024, Xpeng launched G9, G6 and P7 in Spain and Portugal.
