Xpeng P7+ AI Electric Sedan Debuts, Launch Expected in Q4 2024

Xpeng’s AI electric sedan, the P7+ made its real-life debut at the Alibaba Apsara Conference on September 19th. The car is expected to officially launch in Q4 2024.

The Xpeng P7+ is positioned as the world's first AI (artificial intelligence) vehicle, adopting AI technology that features an end-to-end large model. The car is capable of autonomous learning, and driving on roads in every city like an experienced driver.

Thought the car is under disguise, we can see that the car is not equipped with LIDAR, we guess that the car may utilize pure visual driving assistance system.

In terms of power, the car offers only single motor version, which produces 180kW/230 kW, utilizing LFP battery, according to the information released by the company in a regulatory filing catalog with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in July.

Xpeng is aiming to become an AI oriented car company over the next 10 years. He Xiaopeng, the Chairman and CEO, stated in the conference that the lower limit capability of the end-to-end model is expected to rapidly improve in 2025, and in the following 2 years, it will be able to surpass L4 autonomous driving abilities.
