On July 30th,Xpeng held an intelligent driving technology conference in China.Xiaopeng He, the CEO of Xpeng, announced Xpeng has begun pushing a system that named Tianji XOS 5.2.0 to users all over the world.Xpeng has proposed the research & development expense in artificial intelligence about 3.5 billion yuan.They have equipped the biggest artificial intelligence power of 2.51 EFLOPS and become the automaker that has successfully achieve large-scale models of end-to-end among all the automakers in the world.
With the help of end-to-end large-scale , the time required for intelligent driving and the user experience has cut down significantly. In July, XNGP , Xpeng navigation guided pilot , will be available to all cities in China. Through this update , XNGP will be updated from “drive well in China” to “use well in China”.The range from intelligent driving can achieve “No city restrictions, no route limitations, no road condition constraints.”
The main announcement was the launch of Xpeng’s AI Dimensity XOS 5.2.0 , named Tianji. The update includes 72 new functions and 412 optimized functions.These range from intelligent driving to changes to the intelligent cockpit, including better interconnection with Apple phones.
In terms of intelligent driving , Xpeng will push function in XNGP that will easy to use in China.It can realize AI intelligent driving on the road wherever navigation is possible , and can reserve a parking spot by tracking within 100 meter , and parking from camera perception.
Under Tianji , Xpeng’s updates lead the industry in frequently , and it has become the top in Chinese EV brand on updates OTA .From now on ,Tianji XOS 5.2.0 is being pushed to the Max version of Xpeng models starting immediately, and overseas users will start getting the update on August 15, according to the company.
