The new entry-level Aion Y Plus is priced at RMB 99,800, marking a significant reduction of RMB 20,000 compared to the previous base price.
As the electric vehicle subsidiary of GAC Group, GAC Aion continues to expand its product line with the introduction of the new Aion Y Plus trim.
Despite the lower price tag, the new Aion Y Plus maintains the same core specifications as the previous RMB 119,800 model. However, it comes equipped with a smaller battery pack of 37.9 kWh, which offers a combined driving range of 310 kilometers.In contrast, the RMB 119,800 version features a larger 51.9-kWh battery pack, delivering a combined range of 430 kilometers.
In addition to the two lowest-priced variants, the Aion Y Plus is available in 12 other trims, ranging from RMB 126,800 to RMB 189,800. These models offer driving ranges of either 510 kilometers or 610 kilometers.
The new Aion Y Plus trim provides customers with a more accessible option while maintaining the quality and specifications they expect from GAC Aion.
