BYD Unveils Updated Han 2025 Sedan with Enhanced Smart Features and Lower Prices
Following BYD Qin, Seal 06 DM-I, and Song L, BYD finally rolled out the BYD Han sedan 2025 version. As usual, the updated version has a lower prices, and offers upgraded specs.
Pricing and Variants
The 2025 version of BYD Han offers BEV and PHEV variants with a price range between RMB165,800 yaun to RMB235,800 yuan.
BYD Han EV has 4 variants selling at RMB179,800 yuan, RMB195,800 yuan, RMB209,800 yaun and RMB235,800 yuan respectively. And for the hybrid variant, BYD Han DM-i offers 5 variants, pricing at RMB165,800 yaun, RMB175,800 yuan, RMB185,800 yuan, RMB195,800 yuan and RMB225,800 yuan, respectively.
Enhanced Intelligent Features
Positioned as a mid-to-large-size sedan for family use, BYD Han is always been a leading best-seller of its class in sales. But the intelligence functions were not the highlights for the sedan before. This time, the 2025 versions makes its advanced intelligent driving assistant system as a selling point. l The car features BYD’s DiPilot 300 "Zeus Eye" advanced intelligent driving assistance system.
l The car utilizes NVIDIA Orin X chip with a computing power of 254 TOPS.
l The car is equipped with 31 sensors, including 1 high-perception LiDAR
l The car updates its parking assistance system covering all parking scene, like urban piloting, high-speed piloting, and valet parking (some functions require OTA upgrades).
l Inside the cabin, the DiLink 100 intelligent cockpit features high-end version (5G), which is based on a D100(6nm) chip, creating a smarter, faster and more human cockpit.
There are also some highlights worth mentioning.
For the Han EV 2025, the mid to high-end variants is built on the 800V high-voltage platform, bringing a better energy performance.
For the Han DM-i 2025, being equipped with BYD’s 5th-gen DM technology, and 1.5Ti high-efficiency engine and EHS200 hybrid system, the car is able to achieve an acceleration rate of 6.9s from 0 to 100 km/h, and a fuel consumption of only 3.8L/100km in the condition of power loss.
Specifications and Design
The car measures 4,995 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,920 mm. The car bares the similar outlook of its 2024 version, while offers a new exterior color of “Weiyang Grey”, showcasing a refined elegance of China-chic.
Market Prediction
On Wednesday, AutoCagno shares a report from Cleantechnica, listed the top selling EVs in the world, and Han took the 10th position for July, and 10th place during January to July. Due to the upgraded features, especially the intelligent features, AutoCango believes that Han will maintain its market performance and continue to secure more orders in the mid-to-high-end market segment.
