Changan Automobile: 21.98% Year-on-Year Increase in November Vehicle Sales
On December 3, Changan Automobile announced that its total vehicle sales in November reached 277,300 units, a year-on-year increase of 21.98%. The cumulative sales for the year stand at 2,433,100 units, gaining a year-on-year increase of 4.07%. Among these, new energy vehicle sales in November were 102,309 units, a year-on-year increase of 98.4%; overseas sales were 37,878 units, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%
BYD Increases Employment Target for New Factory in Brazil to 20,000
According to an announcement by the Brazilian government on December 2, BYD plans to produce its first batch of electric vehicles in Brazil by March 2025. Additionally, the company plans to recruit an additional 10,000 employees for its new factory in Brazil between January and August 2025, raising the employment target to 20,000. It is expected to add 2,000 positions in January, 3,000 in May, and 5,000 in August

Zeekr and Lynk & Co. Integration Results in "Zeekr Technology Group"
On December 3, Zeekr and Lynk & Co. announced the new company name after strategic integration: Zeekr Technology Group. The group will have dual brands, Zeekr and Lynk & Co., striving to become a global high-end luxury new energy vehicle group with annual production and sales of one million units in about two years. It is reported that after the strategic integration of the two brands, the frontend will maintain independent operations, while the middlewear and backend will be fully integrated. An Conghui, President of Geely Holding Group and CEO of Zeekr Technology Group, estimates that through maximizing synergy, production capacity utilization will be increased by 3-5%, while R&D investment, BOM costs, marketing and management expenses will be reduced by 10-20%, 5-8%, , and 10-20%, respectively.

On December 3, Wang Xiuchun, Deputy Director and First-Level Inspector of the Transportation Service Department of the Ministry of Transport of China, stated that the next steps will focus on accelerating the digital and intelligent development of transportation and logistics within the modern comprehensive transportation system. Efforts will be made to promote the digital transformation and upgrading of transportation infrastructure, improve standards and specifications for fully automated ports, low-altitude logistics, and online freight, and orderly promote the demonstration applications of autonomous vehicles and drones. This will strengthen the synergy of smart transportation logistics standards, promote the deep integration of digital technology with various scenarios of transportation and logistics, cultivate new productive forces for the development of transportation and logistics, and better assist in reducing costs and improving quality and efficiency in transportation and logistics.
