Moreover, Galaxy E5 uses the CTB (Cell to Body) battery body integration technology together with Galaxy’s 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive system, which make the car highly efficient and low energy consuming.
Accordingly actual performance, the data is better than official claims. The official 0-100 km acceleration time being 6.9 seconds while actual tested result is at 6.75 seconds; moose test speed achieved 78km/h; actual tested top speed at high-speed ring stands 184 km/h whereas, 100-kilometer braking distance measures 35 meters.
Galaxy E5’s Another Trump Card: The Aegis Short Blade Battery
On June 27th, Geely Galaxy reveals its latest innovation - the Aegis Short Blade Battery. Set to be used first in the Galaxy E5, the Aegis battery boasts high resistance to eight (8) 5mm steel needles punctures and fire, or even being immersed in water for one hour without smoking, firing or bursting.
The battery promises a cycle life of 3,500 cycles, offering a safe driving range of over 1 million kilometers, and allowing ten years of service with daily recharging. With a capacity of 192Wh/kg, and volume utilization up by over 50%, this battery can give cars longer range drive in extremely cold areas. Regarding faster charging, it takes only 17 minutes for the Aegis Short Blade Battery to be charged to 80%.
With adaptability for various vehicles like sedans, SUVs commercial vehicles and even MPVs, the Aegis Short Blade Battery represents its advantages over competing products including safety, cycle life, fast charging capability and low temperature discharging, we could not wait to see new Galaxy E5.
