Avatr Establishes Presence in Thailand with First Showroom and Initial Deliveries
On November 6, 2024, Avatr opened its first showroom in Thailand, a step further after it launched the Avatr 11 right-hand-drive model in Thailand in September.
Avatr, a brand co-built by Changan Automobile, CATL, and Huawei, has opened its first showroom in Thailand last week, and on the opening ceremony, the company successfully delivered its Avatr 11 SUV to the first batch of over 100 customers.
Marking a New Era for Avatr in Southeast Asia
Avatr has the confidence to make Thailand a stronghold in its global expansion strategy, as Chen Zhuo, President of Avatr Technology, remarked, "We are confident in building Thailand as a flagship hub for Avatr's global strategy. We plan to radiate Southeast Asia and the global right-hand-drive market through Thailand, making Avatr a leader in high-end intelligent EVs by 2030."
According to the company, the global strategy would be expanding to 50 countries and setting up more than 100 overseas sales networks by 2025.
Domestic Growth
Avatr actually performed quite well this October by selling a record-high of 10,056 units, sue to its newly-launched Avatr 07. By November 2, the Avatr 07 got more than 30,000 pre-orders after its launch in October.
Meanwhile, its Avatr 12, featuring both pure electric and extended-range powertrains, was launched to cater to a larger consumer base.
