The new X7, Mo Fang (BEIJING 5), and U5 PLUS comprised BAIC Motor's new three-model lineup, which was introduced in the openning cerompny of BAIC's first flagship on May 29 in Cairo, Egypt. The event also showcased BAIC's off-road versions BJ40, BJ60, and BJ80.

Specifically Designed for Egyptian Customers

Specifically created for the Egyptian market, these recently released models uphold the high standards of quality set by BAIC. In addition to the tough BJ40, BJ60, and BJ80, the stylish U5 PLUS, the technologically advanced Mo Fang, and the luxurious X7 highlight BAIC's wide range of products and ability to serve a variety of market niches.

Egypt is an important market in the Middle East and Africa with significant potential that shapes a significant portion of BAIC's global strategy. By going further into market research and precision positioning, BAIC hopes to improve collaboration and knowledge sharing with the Egyptian market, enabling reciprocal benefits in the automobile industry.

Moving Forward Worldwide

BAIC Motor also ventured into new overseas markets from May 14 to 16, launching the BJ40 PLUS and X55 models in Indonesia and Malaysia, which are specifically tailored for right-hand drive regions.

Future Plans

By 2024, BAIC intends to establish a complete sales and service network across Indonesia and Malaysia in collaboration with foreign collaborators. Concurrently, the organization is advancing with the establishment of regional KD (Knock-Down) assembly lines in order to strengthen its position in these markets.
