China's largest auto show opened in Beijing on April 24th, seeing global debut of 117 new models. During the show, 41 concept car models and 278 new energy vehicle (NEV) models will be displayed.
Xiaomi
Xiaomi's founder and CEO Lei Jun has outlined an ambitious aim to deliver 100,000 units of SU7 in 2024. As of April 24th, Xiaomi had received over 75,723 orders for the SU7 variant, and 5781 units has already been delivered.
MG EXE181
MG unveiled its all-new concept car EXE181 at the Beijing Auto Show, paying tribute to the MG EX181 that set the land speed record in 1959. The overall design of the MG EXE181 is very avant-garde, with a body shape resembling a teardrop, a drag coefficient of only 0.181Cd, and an acceleration from zero to one hundred kilometers per hour in just 1.9 seconds.
